The Rehabilitation, Expansion, and Operation of Queen Alia International Airport
The project aims to provide a modern airport and services of a high level of quality and safety, and attract investment by Rehabilitation, Expansion, and Operation of Queen Alia International Airport with a distinctive architectural design, and advanced facilities.
The Project was awarded through a BOT modality for 25 years started 2007 to the winning bidder the Airport International Group (AIG).
The return on investment for the Jordanian government from this project is one of the highest ratios at the global level in similar projects and without the government bearing any costs (operating or capital), and this partnership is considered one of the best (40) public-private partnership projects in the world.
